The EIS Enablement team uses the latest learning technology to provide a transformational learning experience for our partners and clients. Our approach combines conceptual instruction and hands-on practice. We’re successful when you’re able to easily apply this knowledge within your own projects.
Our EIS University (EISU) team consists of instructional designers, training delivery, and documentation teams who work collaboratively to design, develop, and deliver a diverse range of courses and recipes. Each member brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, contributing their unique perspectives to create a well-rounded learning environment.
EISU curriculum is targeted to specific audiences, which align with roles commonly found on project implementations. These audiences are referred to as Implementation Profile. Profiles are aligned to the following project roles:
Developer
Business Analyst
QA – Manual
QA – Automated
Architect
The matrix below outlines how our Learner Profiles align to the workstream and/or domains within EIS Suite.
EISU curriculum is built using eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), and virtual instructor-led (VILT) modalities. Depending on the role and subject matter, a plan may lean more heavily on one or the other. The full descriptions of how we define these terms within EISU are described in more detail below.
VILT / Blended deliveries can be loosely categorized into the following formats:
A group works together to explore and solve problems. By volunteering, a participant performs exercises by sharing the screen and following the guidance from the instructor.
A group meets the instructor for a consultation, primarily focused around the questions of participants.
The instructor walks through theory presentations and demonstrates exercises on the screen.
EISU certification programs are designed to validate a candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities regarding creation, enhancement, customization, and implementation of EIS software solutions. Our certification programs aim to provide candidates a learning path to demonstrate proficiency and are an excellent way to develop talent, recognize expertise, and honor the immense amount of effort that individuals dedicate to mastering a skill set. Upon successful completion, participants are awarded a certificate, a badge that is retained in the EISU platform, and a downloadable badge that may be used in email signatures and shared on social media.
There are three levels of certification offered by EIS University. All programs leverage a blended approach that includes a combination of self-study material, online examinations, instructor-led training/bootcamps, and/or practical design tasks.
Associate level programs are aimed at certifying each role in foundational concepts commonly found in project implementations.
Professional level programs are intended for Certified Associates who desire a deeper dive into specializing in a particular domain and/or workstream.
Expert level certification is currently reserved for our Systems Architect role. It is a comprehensive and intensive program that aims to provide architects with comprehensive knowledge of EIS Suite architecture. This program follows a slightly different methodology and features an on-site bootcamp as part of the curriculum.
EIS University consistently provides learners progress reports to the participants’ stakeholders. The reports are provided after certain milestones within the learning journey:
Our pricing model encompasses a comprehensive approach that includes delivery, environment setup, and administration fees, ensuring a seamless and efficient service experience for our clients. We price our curriculum according to our learning path structure, so it’s a simple, single price calculated based on the number of hours of curriculum and/or instruction.
EISU learning plans are supplemented by a suite of documentation resources aimed at partners, clients, and EIS employees. These resources include the following:
A comprehensive wiki space that describes the products, as well as how to configure and deploy them.
“Recipes” that provide step-by-step instructions for specific implementation tasks
Quarterly release notes that provide, as well as other things, detailed in-context descriptions of new features
