Information Collection and Use
EIS Group collects information from our users at different points on our Site in the following ways.
We collect resumes of persons interested in working at EIS Group. We will only use such resumes for the purposes of evaluating the submitter of the resume for employment with EIS Group and for the purpose of contacting the submitter of the resume regarding employment. We will not provide the resumes to any third parties other than third parties assisting us in evaluating the resumes.
We may collect feedback from visitors to our site. In connection with such feedback, we collect names and email addresses. We may use the email addresses to contact you regarding your feedback. We will not provide the names, email addresses or feedback to any other party except our service providers who may use it in connection with providing the services on our Site. Please note that any feedback you provide will become the property of EIS Group.
Cookies and Tracking Pixels
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer or device, usually with the Web browser, containing information about the user. Cookies improve your ability to use our Site. For instance, cookies enable our Site to recognize you as you navigate through the pages of our Site.
Tracking pixels, also known as web beacons, are objects embedded within a Web page that track a user’s access. We and third-party services on our behalf may use tracking pixels to track your activity on our Site and collect, store and use this information to optimize our Site’s experience.
Our Site makes use of third party services that help us improve our users’ experience. The following paragraphs describe the cookies and data collection employed by these third-party services.
LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network with hundreds of millions of members and growing rapidly. LinkedIn’s mission is to connect the world’s professionals to make them more productive and successful. LinkedIn Cookies and other ad technology such as beacons, pixels, and tags help us serve relevant ads to you more effectively. They also help us provide aggregated auditing, research, and reporting for advertisers, understand and improve our service, and know when content has been shown to you. Note: Because your web browser may request advertisements and beacons directly from third party ad network servers, these networks can view, edit, or set third-party cookies, just as if you had requested a web page from their site. Ads served by LinkedIn may also set third-party cookies.
We gather your IP address when you access the Site. We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer, maintain and improve the Site, track user’s movement, personalize (at the company level), and gather broad demographic and behavioral information for aggregate use. We do not use your IP address in a manner linked to your personally identifiable information.
There are places on our Site where you may choose to input your contact information, such as name, job title, company, and email address. We may use this contact information to send you further information about industry trends, and our products and services from time to time, only if you decide to opt-in. If you no longer wish to receive emails from us, or you wish to view what emails you’ve signed up for, you may withdraw consent or view your preferences at any time by following the instructions included in the emails you receive.
We do not sell your contact information. However, we may disclose this contact information to our service partners if they are better positioned to serve you or your business. You may contact us at the address below if you do not want us to give your contact information to our service partners. Should your contact information change, we will update said third-parties per GDPR compliance rules.
You may have your data removed from our databases at any time. Similarly, you may request access to the data we have on file, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
EIS Group will alert downstream recipients of deletion requests.
When you submit information via this Site, your information is protected both online and offline. We maintain or use third parties to maintain, physical, electronic and managerial procedures designed to safeguard the information we collect through the Site.
For example, when you enter your contact information, that information is encrypted and is protected through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. You can identify a secure page because the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when you are just “surfing.”
Similarly, the servers storing our Site’s users’ personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment, behind a locked cage.
EIS Group may share your information with its subsidiaries and corporate affiliates. Other companies besides EIS Group and its affiliates may operate or host the Site or the computers that operate the Site, store or process data for us, and provide services related to the information requests that you have submitted or communications we provide to you. For example, some or all of the contact information and marketing data about you may be stored in our vendors, Salesforce.com or HubSpot, both of whom are GDPR compliant. If there are third parties that store or process our data, we will require them to hold all personally-identifiable information confidential and to use our Site’s user information only for the purpose of fulfilling their business obligations.
You understand and agree that technical processing of your information is and may be required (a) to send and receive messages regarding your use of the Site; (b) to conform to the technical requirements of connecting networks; (c) to conform to the limitations of our Site; (d) to conform to other, similar technical requirements.
Use of Personal Information
We only use personal information for the purposes for which we tell you that it has been collected, and for other legitimate purposes as permitted by applicable laws.
