Press Release

Glenn Lim Joins EIS Group

EIS Group is pleased to announce Glenn Lim recently joined the company as senior vice president, Cloud Product Marketing and Alliances.

In his new position, Lim will be responsible for bringing to market new cloud-based innovations designed to help EIS Group customers and partners improve software quality, accelerate software deployment and reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) of insurance core administration systems.

EIS Group believes cloud-based technologies offer a significant opportunity to insurance companies looking for ways to modernize technologies which can effectively reduce the burden of maintaining legacy systems. A recent analyst study shows that on average only six percent of insurance industry IT budgets are spent on new research and development, with the majority of budgets spent on managing and maintaining existing software and infrastructure. As more technology moves to the cloud, insurance companies can leverage these opportunities to reduce the amount of resources required to operate critical IT systems. Insurance companies can then allocate more resources to innovations which can deliver better customer service and competitive advantage.

“What attracted me to this position is the fact that EIS Group has the best platform, core and mobile applications on the market,” said Lim. “One of my goals at EIS Group is to create cloud-based services capable of accelerating implementations, including the testing and upgrading of integrated core administration systems, while significantly reducing the associated cost.”

Lim brings a wealth of technology experience to the table for EIS Group, having held executive positions in both enterprise and cloud-based companies such as Oracle, PayPal and Salesforce. He previously served as vice president of Cloud Alliance Programs, Strategy and Operations at Salesforce.com, as well as general manager of Alliances, Channels and Vertical Markets at PayPal. Among Lim’s many roles during his nearly two decades at Oracle, he served as vice president of Worldwide Alliances and played a significant role in building the Oracle On-Demand business. Lim is a well-known and frequent speaker at industry conferences, and in 2012 CRN Magazine named him one of the “Top 100 People You Should Know.”

“We are very pleased to have Glenn join our leadership team,” said Alec Miloslavsky, CEO and executive chairman for EIS Group. “EIS Group is an innovator in the insurance industry, and with Glenn’s level of expertise in cloud technology and alliance building we will continue to lead the industry in cloud-based offerings. Our goal is to demonstrate where cloud technologies can create value not only for our existing insurance customers, but for the industry at large.”
